A multi-day race among women of the Road Cycling Championship of the Republic of Belarus ended in Vitebsk region.
Riders of Minsk Cycling Club excelled in all classifications at the national championship in the stage race, which was held this year from July 12 to 17 under the banner "Tour of Belarus" with the participation of the national teams of Russia and Uzbekistan.
The Road races, which completed the program of Belarus Open Road National Championships, ended with the victories of Minsk Cycling Club riders in all categories. Alina Abramenka and Dzianis Marchuk won U-23 gold medals. The elite champion jerseys were tried on by Hanna Tserakh and Aliaksandr Piasetski.
On Thursday, July 7, a 50 km mixed relay was held in the Great Stone Industrial Park within Belarus Road National Championships.
On Friday, July 8, road races were held in Raubichi within the Olympic Youth Days. The victory among women juniors was won by the rider of Minsk Cycling Club Palina Konrad. Among the men juniors, Viachaslau Shpakouski, the representative of the capital's club, was also the first to finish.
