Minsk Сycling Сlub racer Mamyr Stash became the winner of the overall classification of the first ever international multi-day cycling race "Tour of Russia".
Representatives of the Belarusian team demonstrated the seriousness of their intentions already at the first stage. Dzianis Marchuk finished second, Aliaksei Shmantsar third.
The second stage ended with the victory of Mamyr Stash, who also took the yellow leader's jersey.
His teammates not only helped him keep his jersey on the remaining four stages, but also regularly made it onto the podium themselves. Dzianis Marchuk won the fourth stage. Siarhei Shauchenka was third there. Aliaksei Shmantsar took second place on the fifth stage. And the final sixth stage brought another medal to Siarhei Shauchenka, who was second this time. And of course, Mamyr Stash won the overall standings.
