For the second year in a row, the leader of Minsk Cycling Club, Yauheni Karaliok, became the best in the multi-day race “Tour of Belarus”.

The Belarusian men's stage race championship, held for the last few years under the banner of the Tour of Belarus, is becoming an increasingly prominent event on the national calendar. This year, in addition to the usual guests from Russia, a team from the UAE came to the Tour.

The format of the multi-day race has also changed somewhat. So, instead of the team race, which traditionally opened the Tour of Belarus, the organizers held criterium in Brest.

34 kilometers, 15 laps, high speeds, intense struggle and victory for Yauheni Karaliok. Second place was taken by the Russian Ilia Baidikov, third was Yauhen Sobal.

The second stage (144 km), with the start from Brest Fortress and the finish in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, was no less spectacular. Everything was decided by the attack of Yauhen Sobal in the last kilometers of the distance. Minsk Cycling Club racer won the stage and led the overall standings. Russian Sergey Malnev (Locosphinx) finished second, Uladzimir Harakhavik (Minsk Cycling Club) finished third.

Next was the time trial. 25 kilometers was enough for Yauheni Karaliok to regain the yellow jersey of the leader of the Tour of Belarus. The national champion in the individual race won a landslide victory, making a strong bid for the overall victory. The second at the stage was Kiryl Kavaliou (Grodno region). Third – Yauhen Sobal.

In the remaining three stages, Karaliok, with the help of his teammates, calmly controlled the course of the race.

The fourth stage (144 km) from Belovezhskaya Pushcha to Slonim brought victory to Uladzimir Harakhavik, who was ahead of the representative of the Russian team, Kirill Miller, at the finish line. The third was another Russian Viacheslav Ivanov (Locosphinx).

Then the race went to Novogrudok. The fifth stage (135 km) ended with the victory of Grigorii Skorniakov (Locosphinx). Minsk Cycling Club racers Dzianis Mazur and Uladzimir Harakhavik took second and third places.

The final sixth stage (126 km) in Novogrudok was without surprises. There were enough fights, attacks and breaks, but Yauheni Karaliok had no intention of giving up the yellow jersey. Kirill Miller (Russian team) won the stage. Minsk Cycling Club racer Uladzimir Harakhavik took second place. The third was another Russian Ivan Blokhin.

The title of champion of Belarus in the multi-day race remained with Yauheni Karaliok. Yauhen Sobal finished second in the general classification. Kiryl Kavaliou took third place.

The green jersey of the most active racer went to Ilia Baidikov (Russian team). In the mountain competition, Uladzimir Harakhavik (Minsk Cycling Club) won a landslide victory. Kiryl Kavaliou became the best young rider of the Tour of Belarus.
