The road season in Belarus traditionally opened in Brest with Belarus Cup and Republican competitions in memory of E.A. Malets.

The competitive program on Thursday, April 6, was opened by a 10 km individual time trial.

In the junior women races, Palina Konrad had no equal. A representative of Minsk Cycling Club overcame the distance with a score of 14:20.36, winning more than 7 seconds from Dziyana Laveika from Polotsk, who took second place, and more than 18 seconds from Daria Gorodok from Grodno, who showed the third time.

Uladzislau Kandratsenka, the racer of Minsk Cycling Club, became the best among junior men. The result of the winner is 12:43.74. The second and third places are also in the assets of representatives of the capital's club: Kiryl Hutsko took second place with a backlog of 14:01, Pavel Valuiko was third - 15:34.

ITT among women was held without the main favorites - the leaders of Minsk Cycling Club women's team, who missed the starting stage of Belarus Cup due to participation in competitions in Russia. Nevertheless, the capital squad did not remain without medals. A confident victory was won by Yuliya Usava (13:39.26), who won 51 seconds over another Minsk Cycling Club racer Anhelina Krasko and more than a minute over Ulyana Gorevaya from Vitebsk.

Among men, in the absence of the ill champion of the country in ITT Yauheni Karaliok, Brest racers of Minsk Cycling Club Dzianis Mazur and Yauhen Sobal had a good chance to prove themselves at home. But another representative of Minsk Cycling Club team and Grodno region, Mark Hrynkevich, spoke brightly. He showed the time of 12:02.92, over 18 seconds ahead of Mazur and Sobal, who took the remaining two places on the podium.
