Having finished in the top 10 of the Alanya Grand Prix, Vasili Strokau brought the first points of the UCI Europe Tour rating to Minsk Cycling Club continental team.

The second race of the Turkish block turned out to be more representative in terms of composition and brought together 28 teams and more than 150 athletes. Minsk Cycling Club sent the same team as a week earlier: Yauhen Sobal, Yauheni Karaliok, Vasili Strokau, Mikhail Shemetau, Vasili Bialiauski.

The participants had to cover 147.2 km starting and finishing in Alanya. However, the main events of the race, full of ups and downs, unfolded in laps outside the city.

At the very beginning of the race, four riders, including Vasili Bialiauski (Minsk Cycling Club) and Artur Kiryevich (Viva Rovar), broke away. However, the gap was closed before entering the laps.

Already after the first climb, a new breakaway appeared, consisting of a tandem of riders from the Norwegian team Uno-X, and the peloton was divided into several groups. hen Sobal, Yauheni Karaliok and Vasili Strokau were in the first group.

On the final lap, the Norwegian duo broke up, and two pursuit groups left the peloton after numerous attacks. Sobal and Strokau managed to shift to the second, which finished 1:16 after the winner. Strokau was 10th at the finish line, earning 3 ranking points for the team (for the first time in this season), while Sobal finished 12th. Karaliok arrived in the group and was 17th. Shemetau was 73rd (14:04), Bialiauski did not finish.

Further in the racing program of the continental team of Minsk Cycling Club there is a multi-day cycling race of the first category "Tour of Antalya", which will be held on February 10-13.
