Riders of Minsk Cycling Club women's continental team have successfully opened the Belarusian road cycling season in Mozyr.
The national championship in the dual race has become the first official start for Belarusian cyclists after a four-month breakdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Needless to say that everyone was waiting for it with a great impatience.
Representatives of Minsk Cycling Club women’s continental team once again proved that they have no peers in Belarus.
Tandem of Tatsiana Sharakova and Nastassia Kiptsikava, who performed for the Vitebsk region, excelled at the distance of 20 km with a result of 27:00.36 sec. Their team-mates from Minsk Cycling Club, Hanna Tserakh and Alina Abramenka , were only 10 seconds slower than the champions (27:10.53). Another athlete of the Club, Savenka Karalina, brought the third place to the Gomel region (27: 36.25) together with Ina Savenka.
