Racers of Minsk Cycling Club won gold medals in a virtual cycling race at the first ever multi-sport competition “Games of the Future” in Kazan.

12 teams of 4 people (2 men, 2 women) took part in the competition. The Belarusian team was represented by Yauhen Sobal, Mikhail Shemetau, Hanna Tserakh, Taisa Naskovich.

The race consisted of four stages: individual time trial (1 km), elimination race, scratch (10 km) and criterium (30 km).

The winning team was determined by summing up the points scored by racers at all stages. The Belarusian team was noticeably ahead of its rivals in the overall standings, scoring 522 points.
