Hanna Tserakh brought Minsk Cycling Club its first victory of the new year, becoming the winner of the Russian championship in a multi-day points race.
Competitions at the Locosphinx cycling track in St. Petersburg for women were held in four stages. Three of them were outcompeted by the leader of Minsk Cycling Club women's team. Only on the final day Tserakh finished second, but this did not affect her confident leadership in the overall standings. With 36 points, Minsk Cycling Club racer won the final victory.
Minsk Cycling Club racer Iryna Chuyankova also made it to the podium. She took second place in the first stage. Chuyankova finished sixth in the overall standings.
Another representative of Minsk Cycling Club Taisa Naskovich got the thirteenth place in the final classification.
Minsk Cycling Club junior women also did not go without awards in the multi-day points race. Adelina Sakun took third place in the final fourth stage and finished the performance in sixth position in the overall standings. Kristina Yaglinskaya took the final sixteenth place.
