Friday at the Open Belarus Track Cycling Championship in non-Olympic disciplines and the Open Republican Competitions was again dictated by Minsk Cycling Club.

Club representatives won five gold, four silver and five bronze medals.

The men's scratch race ended with a mass sprint, although Vasili Bialiauski was in the lead with a tangible advantage even a lap to the finish line. And yet, the track professionals did not allow the road racer to win a sensational victory, catching up with him on the last lap. The victory was won by Dzianis Mazur, silver went to Raman Tsishku, the third was the two-time world champion in this discipline Yauheni Karaliok.

The group finish determined the winner in the women's scratch. Hanna Tserakh won the second gold of the championship, Karalina Biriuk won silver again, and Taisa Naskovich won bronze after fourth place in the individual pursuit.

No less intense was the struggle in the elimination race. Among men, the entire pedestal was again taken by Minsk Cycling Club. First place was won by a powerful early attack by Raman Ramanau, who did not let the club's newcomer, Russian Mamyr Stash, approach him. The third was Raman Tsishkou.

Among women, the first place was taken by Taisa Naskovich, who won the final sprint against the representative of Mogilev region, Hanna Vasilkova. The third was Nastassia Kiptsikava.

Sprint races on Friday were held within the Open Republican Competitions. Artsiom Zaitsau from Mogilev region confirmed his excellent form, having won the second gold in two days. The racer of Minsk Cycling Club Aliaksandr Hlova, as in the time trial, became the second, and the bronze went to Artur Shcherbakov from Gomel region.

In the women's sprint, Varvara Basiakova again had no equal, who won the qualification and confidently won all duels. Silver went to Yuliya Manets from Brest region. Bronze was won by Aryna Staravoitava.
