The final stage of Belarus Cup ended in Grodno, which drew a line under the 2022 Belarusian road season. The winner of the men's final standings in the individual and group races was Yauheni Karaliok, the racer of Minsk Cycling Club road team.
At home in Grodno, one of the leaders of the national team did not let anyone doubt his superiority for a minute. At first, Karaliok confidently won the ITT, almost a minute and a half ahead of the silver and bronze medalists Kiryl Kavaliou and Aliaksandr Sychuhou.
And the next day, he also became the winner of the 120 km group race, ahead of his teammates Siarhei Shauchenka and Uladzimir Harakhavik at the finish line.
According to the results of five stages of the National Cup, Yauheni Karaliok became the best in the individual race, having won all four ITT in which he took part, and earned 100 points in the final standings. The second was another rider of Minsk Cycling Club Mark Hrynkevich (55). The third place was also taken a representative of the capital team, Dzianis Mazur (54).
In the group race final standings, the victory also went to Yauheni Karaliok, who scored 81 points. Branislau Samoilau finished the season in second position (51). On the third – Siarhei Shauchenka (42). All three are representatives of Minsk Cycling Club road team.
