Racers of Minsk Cycling Club successfully performed at Grand Prix of Moscow international track cycling competitions, which took place in the Russian capital on May 20-22.

On the competition starting day on May 20 at the Krylatskoye velodrome, the Belarusians won several medals at once.

Minsk racer Hanna Tserakh won the women's elimination race, second place went to Evgenia Mudraya, third place went to Anastasia Kutsenko (both from Moscow).

In the men's elimination race, the winner was the European champion in this event, Sergeiy Rostovtsev (Tula region), the second place was taken by one of the leaders of the Belarusian team, Yauheni Karaliok, the third was Aleksandr Smirnov (Tula region).

Among juniors, Denis Chernov won, second place was taken by Matvey Barabanov (both from Moscow), third place was taken by the representative of Minsk Cycling Club junior team Aliaksandr Karneyenka.

A little later on the same day, Yauheni Karaliok took revenge on Rostovtsev for the elimination race, winning his signature event - scratch race, in which he became the world champion twice. Sergey Rostovtsev (Tula region) this time finished second, Alexander Shakotko (Moscow) became the bronze medalist.

The victory in the women's scratch was won by Maria Averina (Tula region), our Hanna Tserakh took second place, Diana Klimova (Tula region) finished third.

Among juniors, the winner was Denis Nikishin (Moscow), the “silver” was won by the racer of Minsk Cycling Club Kiryl Hutsko, the third was Aleksandr Vodopyanov (Moscow).

On the 2nd competition day of Moscow Grand Prix, the Belarusians continued to collect awards. Artsiom Zaitsau took third place in keirin. Mikhail Yakovlev won. The second was Denis Dmitriev.

In points race, there was no equal to the racer of Minsk Cycling Club Yauheni Karaliok. The second result was shown by Sergey Rostovtsev, another representative of the Belarusian team Raman Ramanau from Belarus became the third.

In the women's race, the first and second places were taken by the representatives of the national team of Belarus and Minsk Cycling Club, the first place was taken by Iryna Chuyankova, the second by Nastassia Kiptsikava. The third place was taken by Daria Malkova.

On the final day of the competition on May 22, Belarusian racer Aliaksandr Hlova took second place in keirin. Mikhail Yakovlev won. Third place - Alexander Sharapov.

In madison, Sergey Rostovtsev and Aleksandr Smirnov won. The second place was taken by Alexander Shakotko and Evgeny Chistik. Belarusian duet Yauheni Karaliok and Dzianis  Mazur became bronze medalists.

In women's madison, Belarusian racers Alina Abramenka and Iryna Chuyankova climbed to the second step of the podium. The victory was won by Gulnaz Khatuntseva and Maria Averina. The third place was taken by Daria Malkova and Diana Klimova.
