Minsk Cycling Club rider Hanna Tserakh won the individual pursuit race on the first day of the Belarus Open Track Cycling Championships.
The Minsker confidently won the qualification with a time of 3.33.720 seconds, and then confirmed her superiority in the "gold" final, where she was faster than the Russian Valeria Valgonen.
One more medal to Minsk Cycling Club could have brought Nastassia Kiptsikava, who, with the fourth result in qualification, broke into the final for bronze. However, she failed to get ahead of the racer from St. Petersburg Alina Moiseeva in the decisive race.
But in the U-23 standings, Iryna Chuyankova took third place.
