UCI Europe Tour international cycling race Grand Prix Justiniano ended with a bright victory of Minsk Cycling Club continental team sprinter Yauheni Karaliok, which became the first for the club in the new season.
The day before, on February 19, members of Minsk Cycling Club tried themselves on Grand Prix Velo Alanya mountain bike race, but no one managed to prove oneselves at the finish of 129.8 km distance. The best result was shown by Karaliok, who took 41st place.
But on Sunday, Minsk Cycling Club rehabilitated in full at Grand Prix Justiniano. Despite the high competition (more than 170 riders from 30 teams started), our team controlled the course of the race, and at the finish of 156.3 km distance managed to provide optimal conditions for sprint of its leader Yauheni Karaliok. And he did not disappoint, winning the mass finish and opening the scoring for Minsk Cycling Club victories in 2022.
In top 10 also finished the racer of Minsk Cycling Club Uladzimir Harakhavik, who competed for Velobayki team.
It is worth noting that five teams representing Belarus took part in the cycling race at once: Minsk Cycling Club, BelAZ, Viva Rovar, Velobayki and the national team of Belarus.
