On October 12, the Russian Championship in endurance events and the All-Russian Competition in sprint disciplines started in St. Petersburg, in which Belarusian athletes took part.
Belarus women's national team of Hanna Tserakh, Nastassia Kiptsikava, Iryna Chuyankova, Katsiaryna Rusak, Taisa Naskovich showed the second time in the team pursuit qualification and made it to the main final, where she took second place with a score of 4:27.446.
Belarus men's team (Raman Tsishkou, Dzianis Mazur, Yuaheni Karaliok, Yauheni Akhramenka) showed the fifth time in the team pursuit qualification and advanced to the first round. There the Belarusians could not improve their result and took the seventh final place.
Among juniors, both women's and men's teams of Belarus made it to the final for 3rd place. But if the junior women (Palina Konrad, Alina Karotkina, Kseniya Shynkarenka, Yuliya Usava) used their chance and climbed to the third step of the podium, the junior men (Stsiapan Bezgerts, Vadzim Adzinets, Viachaslau Shpakouski, Anton Klimchyk, Aliaksandr Astalouski) took fourth place.
In the men's team sprint, the Belarusian trio Aliaksandr Hlova, Artsiom Zaitsau, Anton Konan finished fifth.
In the women's team sprint, the representative of Belarus Varvara Bosyakova, who performed for the mixed team, took third place.
